Tipp City is located in off of I-75 in Miami County, Ohio just north of Dayton. Tipp City formerly known as Tippecanoe was founded in 1840. It was a popular stop for boatmen traveling along the Miami and Erie canals. George W. Bush, while President in 2007 visited the Tippecanoe High School, and now has a street named after him.

There are a myriad of public parks located in and around Tipp City. Kyle Park is the largest park covering over 280 acres. Biking and jogging trails, soccer fields, horse trails, skate park and driving range and an almost 2 acre dog park are just to name a few amenities at this park.
City Park located at Parkwood Drive and Third Street is a family favorite for summer picnics at the Roundhouse, a popular historic structure in Tipp City. Canal Lock Park has a scenic bike trail with benches and picnic tables.

Antique shops, local boutiques and toy stores are among the many local downtown shopping destinations of the locals. Menards is conveniently located off of I-75 and 571 for all your home improvement needs and much more. Convenience and small town charm are abundant in this western Ohio town.

Hickory River Smokehouse uses a dry rub and slow cooks meats over hickory wood for a genuinely delicious meal.
