The City of Huber Heights is located at the true crossroads of America, I-70 and I-75. The city is located Montgomery, Miami and Greene Counties. Huber Heights has a population of approximately 38,000 as of the 2010. Huber Height’s motto is “America’s largest community of brick homes”. The city was named after Charles Huber who was a developer that started the suburban community in 1956. Huber Heights is the third largest suburb in the Dayton Metro area.

Huber Heights has an extensive community park system, full-service YMCA, 2 MetroParks, and numerous sports fields throughout the city for everyone to enjoy.
A favorite destination for the young and young at heart is the Kroger Aquatic Center at the Heights. It has a lazy river, waterslides and zero depth entry pools and much more! Definitely a “must-do” in the summer months.
The other parks in the areas in the area have picnic areas, hiking, playgrounds, grills and gazebos for the local residents to enjoy. Carriage Hill MetroPark is dedicated to protecting and the stewardship of Miami Valley’s natural and cultural heritage. It has nearly 900 acres of natural and historical settings. These parks enhance the quality of life for the park visitors. Taylorsville MetroPark has overe 1,300 acres of hiking trails where you can walk through the pristine old growth of hardwood forest, prairies and don’t forget to stop and enjoy the panoramic views of the Great Miami River.
The New Rose Music Center amphitheater opened in May 2015 and is a great venue to watch concerts outside. It is covered and has over 4,200 seats. The first season is booked with top rated acts that you won’t want to miss. Season tickets are available for those die-hard music lovers.

Shopping in Huber Heights is nothing less than extraordinary. With over 500 acres of high-traffic retail locations offering its residents and visitors alike a wide variety of shopping delights. The shopping areas are blended with numerous restaurants and entertainment stops.
