The City of Eaton is located in Preble County, Ohio. Conveniently located to I-70 and US 35. Preble County fairgrounds in located southest from downtown and is home to the yearly Preble County Pork Festival in which over a hundred thousand spectators come to enjoy the festivities, entertainment, food, arts and crafts. Always on the 3rd weekend in September, mark your calendars, you don't want to miss the fun and great food!
Hueston Woods is 17 miles south of downtown Eaton and has a 625 acre lake, complete with beach, marina and lodge. When visiting Hueston woods you can opt to stay is the rustic lodge or rent a cabin in the woods.
Olde Schoolhouse Winery is located at the corner of SR 726 and US 127 is Eaton's newest addition. Breathing new life into the abandoned old schoolhouse property, they opened in the Spring of 2016.
There are numerous community parks throughout the area. Places to picnic, hike, playgrounds, ball fields, dog parks and a community swimming pool to cool off during the summer months. The local YMCA also has an indoor swimming pool.

Downtown Eaton has an abundance of antiques stores that you will love to browse on a lazy Saturday afternoon. In August, the 127 Yard Sale takes place annually in and brings treasure hunters out in droves. There are quint eateries also located in the downtown district.
Just ten minutes away in Richmond, Indiana you will be enticed by all that Richmond has to offer. Fine dining restaurants, cultural activities and the Richmond Mall just to name a few.
